2009 Intelligent Speed Adaption Conference


The first international conference on Intelligent Speed Adaptation provided an opportunity for road safety practitioners and industry representatives to: 

  • Discuss the latest results from ISA trials conducted around the world.
  • Showcase the latest ISA devices from local and international manufacturers.
  • Be brought up to date on the progress of implementing ISA and its associated systems in Europe, North America and Australia.
  • Examine the strategic opportunities for industry in the deployment of ISA and similar advanced driver assistance technologies.
  • Develop strategic networks with key players in the Road Safety and Intelligent Transport Systems industries.

SHRP 2 releases report on Analysis Methods

In anticipation of the large volume of data to be collected during the SHRP 2 naturalistic driving study, a report has been released to demonstrate that it is possible to use existing NDS data and data from other sources to further the understanding of the risk factors associated with road crashes.
