euroFOT and TeleFOT at TRA 2010

TRA is the European forum par excellence where innovation, research and development in the transport and road construction sectors are presented to more than 1,000 experts and interested parties. The target audience consists of authorities, consultancy and study bureaus, interest groups, contractors, suppliers, car manufacturers and fuel producers. It is the ideal opportunity for all actors to meet one another and to exchange findings, novelties and challenges under the flag "greener, smarter and safer".

This year TRA took place in Brussels from 07 to 10 June. euroFOT and TeleFOT took the opportunity to be present at the event.

euroFOT had a dedicated thematic session on Field Operational Tests during which papers related to the project were presented which included the topics testing the hypotheses, challenges in data analysis, data logging experiences and FOTs operational aspects.

TeleFOT presented a paper on "TeleFOT approach to a smarter, safer and greener driving" which was presented in the parallel Thematic Session "Vehicle/highway systems". The project also showcased an equipped TeleFOT vehicle at the European Com

mission stand.
