Presentation of euroFOT Experimentation, 26 May on the French Test Site!

euroFOT is the first large scale "Field Operational Test" organised in Europe. For a whole year, several thousand equipped vehicles will be driven with advanced driver assistance systems.

Driver behaviour as well as the vehicle environment will be assessed and analysed for the first time on this scale. An unprecedented level of knowledge regarding different driving support systems in real life will be acquired.

The activities of the French Field Operational Test Site, as part of the euroFOT EU FP7 project carried out by CEESAR with the help of RENAULT and INRETS, will be presented and demonstrated during a half day on Wednesday 26 May 2010, followed by a buffet lunch.

The SeMiFOT Final Seminar planned to take place April 20^th have received great attention, both nationally and internationally. Over 90 people have registered and we are happy that many of those are from abroad!

Unfortunately, many cannot participate (both participants and speakers) due to the ash cloud over Europe, and we have therefore decided to postpone the seminar to the end of May/beginning of June.
